MM.LaFleur meet Houston.
Happy Thursday everyone! Hope you had a great Easter weekend! I know I definitely enjoyed having a three day weekend and catching up with family. Things have been so busy here on The Work Agenda lately, and there are tons of exciting things I can’t wait to finally share! It’s all a process and you know the balancing act of full time job / life / blogging. Anyways, I’m back to the usual grind and full work week ahead!
So it’s no surprise to you how much I love MM.LaFleur, as seen here and here. To give you the full background on them, it all began in 2013 with Sarah LaFleur, a former management consultant who wanted to take the work out of dressing for work. MM is known for their Bento Box. AKA your own workwear personal stylist. It’s not the typical subscription service box you think of where you sign up for a revolving monthly outfit. You simply go online, fill out a style profile, and the type of work environment clothes you are looking for. A stylist then sends a Bento Box of about 4-6 items based on the profile you created. You have four days to try on the items and then a super easy, no hassle return process. There is absolutely no commitment. Simple as that. The box is not on a revolver and you can order one whenever you like. Beyond the Bento Box service, you can order their clothes directly from the website or at one of their pop-up shops.
Two weeks ago, MM.LaFleur made their debut appearance in Houston, TX for their first ever pop-up shop! To give them a warm, friendly Texas welcome to Houston, my mom and I hosted a private preview party Tuesday night at Hotel Sorella, where the pop-up shop was held. It was such a fun experience with my mom. After all, she is the one who taught me all about work clothes, and then I got to pay it forward by introducing her MM. She immediately loved the brand, and together we thought all our closest friends and colleagues should know about MM as well!
The evening was filled with generations of working women trying on all of the MM staples and their new season collection. Nothing bonds women more than prosecco and work clothes! My idea of a great night! The MM.LaFleur pop-up team was absolutely fabulous and a pleasure to work with.
The night was such a huge hit amongst our guests, and it’s safe to say that my mom and I left with matching MM dresses. You can decide who copied who!
THANK YOU MM.LaFleur for coming to Houston and letting us be a part of your pop-up experience!
